Gavin Nielsen, who was 2 years old when he was diagnosed with a rare brain cancer, met Dr. Nicholas Vitanza who is part of a growing group of researchers exploring CAR-T therapy. The treatment program that included the immunotherapy added years to Nielsen’s life.
